Certainly! Whoever turns his face completely to God, and thereby
Doing good, he will have his reward with God his Lord,
and no fear shall come upon such, nor shall they be afflicted.
"Would you envy him this,
Or even disgust something
Just know that poets' words
Around the gate of paradise
Always hovering softly tapping,
Asking for eternal life."
God owns the rising and setting of the sun,
and wherever you turn, God's face is there.
"And as long as you haven't,
This one: Die and Become!
Are you just a dull guest
On the Dark Earth."
"North and West and South are splintering,
Thrones burst, empires tremble,
Escape you, in the pure East,
To taste patriarchal air,
Under love, drink, sing,
Shall Chiser's spring rejuvenate thee."
"And may the whole world sink,
Hafis, with you, with you alone
Will I compete! Pleasure and pain
Be mean to us, the twins!
How to love and drink
This shall be my pride, my life."
"But you are mystically pure
Because they don't understand you,
You who, without being pious, are blessed!
They don't want to concede that to you."
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,
To the king of men,
The God of men,
From the evil of the insinuator, the betrayer,
Who blows in the breast of man,
Refuge from jinns and from humans.
